There
were high hopes for Oakes in 2005, what with the fancy rink customizations and all.
However, there was one fatal flaw: the drainage was so poor, the field was
not used often in 2005. Oakes has thusly been relegated to backup rink status
in 2006, and will be the 1st option for the few scheduled games should the weather
be dry.

be used if the rink at Oakes is too wet to play on.
